As an environmental scientist and avid surfer, I was particularly pleased with the hotel’s focus on sustainability, contributing positively to my overall experience. Upon arrival, I appreciated the staff's warm welcome and their informative map which highlighted local attractions—this is invaluable for tourists. The spacious room provided necessary comfort after my lengthy 300km trek on the Camino, and I found the luxurious bath a welcome treat. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, as everything was well-maintained. Dining at the attached restaurant, I savored one of the best meals of my trip, with prices that reflected reasonable value. A key benefit for pilgrims is the adjacent laundromat, allowing guests to refresh before the final leg of their journey. While Chef Rivera may not have the glitz of high-end hotels, its practicality combined with friendly service makes it a prudent choice for those on a budget without sacrificing essential comfort. This hotel is well-positioned for a delightful stay, all while being easy on the wallet.
